Build one evidence folder
- Photograph the shipping label, damage to the outside of the box, and how the affected items were packed inside. Keep the original photos.
- Keep the parcel confirmation, delivery timestamp, packing list and item receipts. Note which order lines are affected, in what quantity and what condition they arrived in.
- If the tracking page offers proof of delivery, save it alongside the photos. Share unredacted labels and receipts through the official claims or support channel. DHL shipping FAQ on proof of delivery
Ask who should open the case
Report the damage promptly through your order’s support channel and include the parcel ID, carrier, tracking number and evidence. Ask whether HUBBUY or the recipient should submit the claim and confirm the deadline for the route you used. Save the case number and any request to retain the packaging. The UPS and DHL references show examples of evidence a carrier may ask for. Your shipment’s terms determine the filing process and coverage.
