International Shipping Restrictions for Parcels
Sources checked
Check whether your chosen shipping service accepts the item’s actual contents before buying. The Universal Postal Union prohibits perfume in international mail. Lithium batteries and aerosols can also fall under dangerous-goods rules. Universal Postal Union dangerous-goods guidance
Get the details the carrier needs
- Ask the seller for the battery type and capacity, or the liquid name and volume. For a device, check whether the battery is installed, packed separately or sold on its own.
- Check the current rules for the destination and the exact service. A route that accepts one device may apply different conditions to a loose battery. The postal network and private courier services publish their own acceptance rules.
- Give HUBBUY support the product link, destination, exact contents and proposed service. Ask whether the item is accepted and what information the warehouse will need before packing. HUBBUY official site and support
Check the whole parcel
A fragrance sample or spare battery bundled with an order can change the answer for the parcel. Ask the seller what is included and check whether the warehouse can remove an optional accessory if you do not want to ship it. Confirm the final contents with the warehouse and describe them accurately on the shipping documents.
If the route is unclear, pause the purchase until you have a written answer. That is easier than deciding what to do with an item after it arrives at the warehouse.
